Viewing Head: Monocular head, 360° rotating inclined at 45°.

Reverse Nosepiece: 3 position reverse nosepieces with positive click stops.

Eyepiece: Locked on 10X wide-field eyepiece. Glass optics provide quality images.

Objectives: Reverse nosepiece with 3 objectives: 4X, 10X, 40XR (retractable); they are color-coded.

Focusing System: Coarse focus control. Safety rack stop ensures delicate specimens and the objective lens are not damaged.

Illumination: Built-in 3-way LED illumination – top, bottom, or both. Light intensity control for both top and bottom which helps to achieve better contrast. Top light shines directly onto round moveable stage and is used as stereo for macro-magnification and opaque objects. Bottom light is used for micro-observation (e.g. prepared slides). 6 hole disc diaphragm with 6 color filters: white, green, blue, magenta, yellow and cyan. Operates on 2 AA batteries (not included) or use the included plug-in AC adaptor.

Stage: 3.5” round gliding stage 360° rotation makes it easy for small hands to adjust and keep control of specimen; stage slowly glides in the proper position. Locked-on, spring-loaded stage clips for exact positioning of the specimen.

Design: Full 11.1″ in height with a 6.5″ x 6″ base. All metal construction.
