Objectives: Achromatic objectives: 4X, 10X, 40XR (retractable); they are color-coded and par-centered.
Reverse Nosepiece: 3 position reverse nosepieces with positive click stops.
Illumination: Built-in LED illumination with on/off switch. LED bulb lifespan is 10,000 hours. 6 holes rotating disc diaphragm. Rotates exposing holes with various apertures to help achieve better resolution. Large apertures for lower magnifications; smaller apertures for higher magnifications. Three wire-grounded power corded for corded models only. 9V Rechargeable Nickel Metal Hydride batteries – Plug-in rechargeable adapter included for cordless models only. Batteries fully recharged in 8 hours, it gives up to 50 hours of continuous use per charge for cordless models only. Plug the supplied charger into a standard 120v outlet and attach to the power inlet on the microscope for cordless models only.
Focusing System: Coarse focus control. Rack and pinion focusing with slip clutch at both ends of travel to prevent damage to the microscope gears. Safety rack stop ensures delicate specimens and the objective lens are not damaged.
Stage: 3.5” round gliding stage 360° rotation with stage clips.
Design: Full 12″ in height with a 6.5″ x 5.25″ base. All metal construction.
